How does the Daily Loss Limit work?
The Daily Loss Limit is the maximum amount your account can lose in a single day.
It is calculated using the previous day’s balance and resets at 5:00 PM EST.
Example:
If your account balance at the end of the previous day is 100,000 USD and your daily loss limit is 5 percent, your account would violate the rule if your equity falls to 95,000 USD during the trading day.
